The platform supports group management of added device resources in a region manner, including video encoding devices, access control devices, and environment collection devices. Devices can be grouped according to their location or association. For example, in a community, each building can be used as an area, for example, all the device in Building 1 is added to the same area (named Building 1). Supports centralized management of devices in the region, such as preview, playback, and other operations.
For areas with strong independence, it is supported to add a single area to the platform, and then add devices to the area to manage the devices in a region manner.
Steps
1. Click the inverted triangle in the upper right corner of the business menu → System Management → Area Management.
2. The area tree on the left shows existing areas, select an area, and click the "Add" button on the right to add a new area.
3. Mandatory operations: region name, region code, and sequence number. The area code is used to identify the area. Sorting number, used for display position in the zone list.
4. Optional: Enter a note to describe the area.
5. Click Save.
By importing a file template with pre-edited area information, areas can be added to the management platform in batches.
Steps
1. Click the inverted triangle in the upper right corner of the business menu → System Management → Region Management.
2. Select an area in the area tree on the left, and click "Batch Import" on the right to enter the batch import interface.
3. Click "Template Download" to save the template as xls the format is saved locally on the computer.
4. Fill in the area information according to the template format.
5. Click "Upload File", select the local edited xls file, and import the region information to the platform.
According to needs, the area information can be exported to the local in xls format, which is convenient for viewing the information of the area and its sub areas.
Steps:
Click the inverted triangle in the upper right corner of the business menu → System Management → Region Management.
Select a department in the area tree on the left, and click Batch Export on the right.
In the prompt window that pops up, click OK. The region information file in the format of xls can be saved locally on the computer.
When the region changes, such as the same-level region becomes the upper-lower level or the upper-lower-level region becomes the same level, the separation and merging of the areas can be realized by move region.
Steps:
1. Click the inverted triangle in the upper right corner of the business menu → System Management → Region Management.
2. Click "Move" on the upper right of the area list, and the interface for moving the area will pop up.
3. Select the area to be moved in Selected area, and select a new area in the Move to list.
4. Click OK, and the zone move is successful.

1. In the area list and click the button on the right to enter the area modification interface.
Select the region name in the list on the left, and click to delete this zone. Multiple selections are also possible for batch deletion.
